Nikko/Golden Eagle Model 5000 Grade I Over/Under Shotgun, #K246705. 20 ga. 28'' vent rib barrels have 3'' chambers and are choked Mod./Full. Boxlock action is identical to a Winchester 101 and features single selective trigger, auto ejector and non-auto safety. Receiver has moderate scroll engraving, with gold eagle head inlays on both sides. Beavertail forend and pistol-grip buttstock are of European walnut with high-gloss finish, and feature finger grooves, no grip cap, and a 14-3/4'' length of pull over a Pachmayr solid black pad. Mfg'd approx. 1976. Condition is very good despite poor storage, as there are several significant dents and gouges in the wood. Action closes tight but appears a bit gummy and should be thoroughly cleaned; bores are dirty but do not appear damaged. Est.: $550-$700. (Modern)
